The Stanford Maternal and Child Health Research Institute Supports Hearing Loss Research

With thanks to the Morgridge family, Stanford’s MCHRI has awarded the Santa Maria Lab to understand mechanisms of sensory hearing loss in chronic suppurative otitis media, the leading cause of permanent hearing loss in the developing world. The grant supports Dr Santa Maria as the Tashia and John Morgridge Endowed Faculty Scholar in Pediatric Translational Medicine.
