Antimicrobial peptoids are a promising approach to combat antimicrobial resistance

In collaboration with the Barron Lab, the Santa Maria Lab is developing synthetic analogs for antimicrobial peptides to combat drug-resistant bacteria.  Their discovery was recently published in ACS Infectious Diseases.
